Red Pocket APN settings depend on which of Red Pocket Mobile’s three networks your SIM is on. The APN, or access point name, tells your phone how to reach the data network. The values below are copied from Red Pocket’s network troubleshooting article.
First, find your network
Look at the long number printed on your SIM card.
| The number starts | Your network |
|---|---|
| 89014 | GSMA |
| 89012 | GSMT |
| 89148 | CDMA |
Red Pocket says GSMA works with AT&T-compatible phones, GSMT with T-Mobile-compatible phones and CDMA with Verizon-compatible phones.

- Open Settings and find Access Point Names in the mobile network settings.
- Add a new APN.
- Enter the values from your network’s column exactly as written.
- Save, then select the new APN.
- Restart the phone and send a picture message to test.
