The best prepaid phone plans are not the same for everyone, so this page picks by need. A prepaid plan is one you pay for before you use it, with no contract. Every price here comes from the brand’s own site, read on October 8, 2026. We have not tested these plans. We compared what the carriers publish.

If the price has to be final

Four brands include taxes and fees in the advertised price: Visible, US Mobile, Metro by T-Mobile and Total Wireless. With the others, expect the total at checkout to be higher than the number on the plan card.

If you are not sure about coverage

Coverage comes from the host network, not from the brand. Pick the network that works where you live, then choose a brand on it from our MVNO list. US Mobile is the one brand here that sells all three networks and lets you move between them.

What we did not judge

Call quality, data speeds and customer service. We do not test, so we cannot rank them. This page ranks what can be read from a price list: cost, data allowance and the conditions attached.
