Xfinity Mobile plans come in two kinds, both unlimited, at $30 and $45 a month once the first-year discount ends. Xfinity Mobile is Comcast’s phone service, and you cannot buy it on its own. Its FAQ says: “Yes, Xfinity Mobile is exclusively available to Xfinity Internet members.”
Xfinity Mobile plans and prices
| Plan | First year | After that | Data | Hotspot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mobile Select | $0 a month | $30 a month | Unlimited. May be slowed after 50 GB when the network is busy | Unlimited, at reduced speeds after 15 GB |
| Mobile Plus | $15 a month | $45 a month | Unlimited | Unlimited, at reduced speeds after 50 GB |
Prices are from Xfinity Mobile’s plans page, read on October 8, 2026, for one line with Xfinity Internet. Taxes and fees are extra.
Mobile Select streams video at 720p. Mobile Plus streams at 4K and includes device protection.
The first-year price has conditions
The $0 first year on Mobile Select is for “New Xfinity Mobile members only” and “Requires residential post-pay 300 Mbps internet or above.” It covers one line, as 12 monthly bill credits.
The Mobile Plus offer was marked “Offer ends 10/8” on the day we read it, so it may have changed. Treat $30 and $45 as the real prices and the first year as a bonus.
The page also notes that its pricing “includes $10/mo internet customer discount.”
Which network does Xfinity Mobile use?
The page does not name a carrier. It says “Xfinity Mobile runs on the 5G network with the best mobile coverage in the US.”
One phrase gives a strong hint. Xfinity tells customers they can “Access the 5G Ultra Wideband network”, and 5G Ultra Wideband is the name Verizon’s own brands use for Verizon’s network. Wikipedia’s list of MVNOs also gives Verizon as the host. We file Xfinity Mobile under Verizon.
Does Xfinity Mobile support eSIM?
Yes. Xfinity says, “Bringing your phone is the fastest way to switch — you can set it up in minutes with eSIM.”

Other cable-company phone plans
Spectrum Mobile and Optimum Mobile work the same way, as phone service tied to home internet.
