Spectrum Mobile plans are three unlimited plans at $30, $40 and $50 a line. Spectrum Mobile is Charter’s phone service, and it comes with two requirements: “Spectrum Internet and Auto Pay required for Mobile service.” Its FAQ puts the first one more plainly: “Spectrum Mobile is available exclusively to Spectrum Internet customers”.

Prices are from Spectrum’s mobile plans page, read on October 8, 2026. The page says taxes may apply and an activation fee is additional.

The first-year price is for new customers and for the first line only. Spectrum says, “After your first year, the promotional rate on your first line will expire.”

One line may cost more than the headline

The same page says two things about a single Unlimited line. The plan card shows $30 a month. A footnote says “The standard price for one Unlimited Mobile line is $40/mo”, with two lines at $60.

We read that as $40 for one line alone and $30 a line from two lines up, but the page is not clear. Confirm it before you sign up for a single line.

Which network does Spectrum Mobile use?

Spectrum does not name it. It says “Spectrum Mobile runs on America’s most reliable 5G network”. Wikipedia’s list of MVNOs gives Verizon as the host, and we file it there.

Does Spectrum Mobile support eSIM?

Yes. Spectrum says, “When your device arrives, set up your SIM or eSIM in minutes.”

Data settings

Spectrum publishes no APN values that we could find. Its data troubleshooting page says to “verify that you have the correct carrier bundle installed”.

Cox customers

Cox’s website now sells Spectrum Mobile. What we know about that is on our Cox Mobile page.
