Optimum Mobile plans start at $30 a month for one unlimited line. Optimum Mobile is the phone service of the Optimum cable company. Unlike Xfinity Mobile and Spectrum Mobile, it can be bought without the company’s internet service, at a price.
Optimum’s main plans page would not load for us. The prices below are from its mobile deals page, read on October 8, 2026, so the list may be incomplete.
Optimum Mobile prices we could confirm
| Offer | Price | For how long |
|---|---|---|
| 1 line of Unlimited | $30 a month | 12 months, then “Standard rates apply at month 13” |
| 2 or more lines of Unlimited | $25 a line | 12 months |
| 3 or more lines of Unlimited | $20 a line | 12 months |
| 2 lines of Unlimited Max | $55 a month for both | 12 months, as monthly bill credits |
All are plus taxes and fees. We could not read the standard rate that applies after month 12, the price of a single Unlimited Max line, or the data allowances.
Optimum says Unlimited Max adds “extra premium high-speed data” and “includes call & text to Mexico, Canada & Dominican Republic”.
The conditions
The small print on the deals is long. The parts that change the price:
- “Paperless billing & Auto Pay req’d for mobile.”
- The offer “Requires number transfer from another carrier within 14 days or 36-mo. device financing.”
- It is limited to one per account.
The surcharge without Optimum Internet
The prices above are for Optimum Internet customers. For everyone else: “Starting with third billing cycle, a surcharge of $20/mo. per line will be added unless Optimum Internet account is linked to mobile account.”
So one line without Optimum Internet is $50 a month from the third bill.
Which network does Optimum Mobile use?
We could not read a page where Optimum names it. Wikipedia’s list of MVNOs gives T-Mobile as the host, and we file it there.
eSIM and data settings
We found no statement about eSIM on the pages we could read.
On APN settings, Optimum’s support site says: “When you activate the service with Optimum Mobile, all your APN settings are usually set automatically.” If data, hotspot or picture messages do not work, it says to contact its support, and it publishes no values.
