Simple Mobile plans cost $25 to $60 a month for one line. Simple Mobile is a prepaid MVNO, a mobile virtual network operator, and it belongs to Verizon. Its site says so in the footer: “Simple Mobile is a registered trademark of Verizon Value, Inc, a Verizon company.”
Simple Mobile plans and prices
Five 30-day smartphone plans. Simple Mobile lists them “Plus taxes and fees”.
| Plan | Price | With Auto Pay | High-speed data |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25 plan | $25 | $23.75 | 15 GB |
| $30 plan | $30 | $28.50 | 20 GB |
| $40 plan | $40 | $37.50 | 30 GB |
| Unlimited World | $50 | $45 for the first 3 months | Unlimited |
| Unlimited World+ | $60 | $57 | Unlimited |
Prices are from Simple Mobile’s plans page, read on October 8, 2026.
The Auto Pay price on Unlimited World is the odd one. The page gives it as “$45.00 with Auto Pay For the first 3 months”, so expect it to change in month four.
What the two unlimited plans add
Unlimited World comes with 20 GB of hotspot data and a $15 credit for international calling. Unlimited World+ raises those to 30 GB and $20, adds 50 GB of cloud storage, and lets you add up to four more lines at $25 each.
Video is the other difference. The three cheaper plans and Unlimited World stream at 480p. On Unlimited World+ Simple Mobile says “video streams at up to 720p when using Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network (with a capable device)”.
The plans page carries a warning about busy towers. Customers “may experience reduced data speeds as compared to Carrier postpaid customers”, and speeds “may be further reduced for a small number of customers who use more than 40GB”.
Simple Mobile also sells data add-ons: $5 for 2 GB, $10 for 5 GB or $20 for 10 GB.
Which network does Simple Mobile use?
Verizon’s. The plans page names “Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network” and labels that tier “Verizon network only”.
That is a change. When this site documented Simple Mobile in 2016 it ran on T-Mobile’s network. Its plans page today says only that “Data speeds vary by network and device”, and does not say what happens to lines on older SIMs. If you have had the same SIM for years, ask Simple Mobile which network your line is on.
Simple Mobile and Net10
Net10, another Verizon brand, now sends its visitors here. Net10’s home page carries the notice “Standby while we switch you to SIMPLE Mobile”. What that means for a Net10 line is on our Net10 page.
Does Simple Mobile support eSIM?
We could not confirm it. Simple Mobile’s eSIM page would not load when we tried, and its plans page does not mention eSIM. Ask before you order if you need one.
Data settings
Simple Mobile does not publish APN values as a list. It sends them to your phone after a lookup. The steps are on our Simple Mobile APN settings page.
