Chit Chat Mobile plans are not available. Chit Chat was a small prepaid MVNO, a mobile virtual network operator, on Sprint’s network. It stopped operating in 2014.
What happened to Chit Chat Mobile
The account comes from a trade report of August 2014 about a bad summer for small carriers. It listed “Chit Chat Holdings’ service, which relied on Sprint” among MVNO offerings that had “come to an end”, and explained why:
“Chit Chat Holdings, which debuted its East Coast-only MVNO service late last year, also has filed for Chapter 11. The company says it hasn’t been able to settle a billing dispute with Sprint, so it had to seek protection.”
The report was written by Channel Futures. We read it in the copy republished by Business For Home.
It does not say where Chit Chat’s customers went, and we have found nothing else that does.
A correction to our own record
This site listed Chit Chat Mobile’s plans in a page dated 2016, two years after the service had ended. That page was out of date when it was published. The prices below are the ones it carried. They describe Chit Chat as it was before 2014.
