Using this guide, you will be able to properly configure Metro PCS APN Settings in your mobile device. Metro PCS APN settings for Android
Depending on Android OS the below steps might change, however you can find similar options in most versions. To change your settings. Tap your home screen and follow the steps:
- Tap the Menu button
- Tap Settings
- Tap Wireless and networks or More… (depending on your version of Android)
- Tap Mobile Networks
- Tap Access point names
- Tap the Menu button
- Tap New APN
- Enter the following data into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings;
Name – MetroPCS
APN – fast.metropcs.com
MMSC – http://mms.gprsconnect.com/servlets/mms
APN type – If given a choice, select default,mms,supl, if the keyboard appears enter * - Tap the Menu button
- Tap Save
- Enable the newly-added APN by ensuring the line is ticked, or the radio button is lit by tapping on it
- Check the notification bar for H, 3G, E or G with up and down arrows beside it, which will indicate your connection is working
Metro PCS APN settings for iPhone
You can setup the iPhone allpay mobile apn settings using the below steps.
From the home screen;
- Tap Settings.
- In the first section tap Mobile/Cellular.
- Tap Mobile data network/Cellular data network.
- Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings;
Mobile/Cellular Data:
APN – fast.metropcs.com
Visual Voicemail:
MMS:
APN – fast.metropcs.com
MMSC – http://mms.gprsconnect.com/servlets/mms - Tap the left arrow at the top three times
- Press the home button
- On the status bar at the top of the screen, next to the name of your mobile network, you should now see a data connection indicator 3G, E or o. This means the data connection is live and working.
You can follow the similar steps in for Windows and Blackberry devices. However if you still don’t get your internet or MMS working properly in Metro PCS then use the following alternative Metro PCS settings for internet and mms.

- Name: MetroPCS
- APN: fast.t-mobile.com
- Proxy: Not Required
- Port: Not Required
- Username: Not Required
- Password: Not Required
- Server: Not Required
- MMSC: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
Some fields are not shown here, please leave those fields with the default values. This could fix your internet problems with Metro PCS apn settings. Do share and let us know if it worked for you.
