Moto X Play Price & Specs
Battery life is one of the pain points for the 2nd Gen Moto X and its earlier versions. Moto X Play comes with a huge 3630mAh battery which will definitely make the phone powered up for a longer time.
It features a 5.5-inch, Full HD (1920×1080) resolution, 401 ppi. Moto X Play is powered by a 2GB RAM and 1.7 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU.
In addition to that another highlight of the phone is its 21 MP rear-facing camera with dual LED flash and the 5 MP front-facing camera which will likely make the photographers happy. It also feature a microSD card slot and 16GB storage capacity.
Sadly, Moto Play will not be available for US as Motorola seems to be targeting markets outside United States with this version.
Moto X Pure Price & Specs
Moto X Pure is the name which will be known for the new Moto X Style in US. This new Moto X screen is of 5.7-inch which is slihtly bigger than its other version. It is powered with a 1.8GHz Snapdragon 808, 3GB of RAM, a 5.7-inch, 1440p display, 16GB of storage, and a 3000 mAh battery.
Moto X Pure Edition, will sell for for $399 unlocked in US. We can expect to see this flagship phone in go on sale this fall from Motorola’s website, Amazon, and Best Buy, including in its stores. Its interesting to see that Motorola is not selling it on contract in US. However the Pure Edition having the “universal LTE banding” is designed to work on any US carrier, and will come free off carrier branding or bloatwares.
Motorola claims that the Moto Style/Pure 21 MP camera is as good as iPhone 6 and iPhone 6+ camera. In addition to that, the camera review site DxOMark has rated the Moto X 2015 camera as one of the top three cameras in the world.
The phone looks a great buy as of now even though we are a bit worried about the battery of 3000 mAh as compared to the Moto X Play version is backed up with 3630 mAh.
