We won’t be having this phone until next year. HTC One 2 is scheduled for the spring 2014 launch. It probably going to be launched to compete with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 or Apple iPhone 6.

Very little is known own this phone so far and we are expecting it to probably have Android 4.4 KitKat. According to evleaks the company is working with a new flagship smartphone codenamed the HTC M8 (the HTC One was the ‘M7’) and that it would launch sporting a brand-new version of Sense, HTC’s skinned UI. We also expect to see the fingerprint scanner in M8. HTC One max offered a lot more features with its fingerprint scanner that the Apple iPhone, who where the first bring up the technology with its Touch ID sensor on the iPhone 5s. The HTC One 2 would be more likely come with a 64-bit ARM-based architecture of some kind, either a quad-core or octa-core chipset. With 64-bit computing, HTC could add more RAM to the device than the 2 GB on the HTC One today, and the device could debut with either 3 or 4 GB of RAM to stay competitive and deliver a fast experience. The HTC M8 is suggested to be bringing on a next-generation processor and a display somewhere in-between the HTC One and the DROID DNA (aka the Butterfly J). There are also rumors that the same ARM Cortex-A7 design found in the HTC One will be used in the new HTC One 2 as well.

The HTC One flagship is now available on over a half dozen network providers in the US and so do we expect for the upcoming HTC One 2 which is codenamed as “M8”. However the HTC One 2 pricing so far not available.
