There has been a lot of buzz about Apple’s “budget” or “low-cost” iPhone, and finally they have announced it.
iPhone 5C is the Apple’s low-cost iPhone which is priced at $99 for the 16GB model and $199 for the 32GB on 2 year contracts in the US.
Apple’s iPhone 5C is similar to iPhone 5 in terms of performance apart from some improvements in battery life and front facing FaceTime camera. It comes with a A6 chip and an 8 MP camera and will be running on the new iOS 7.
Regarding the design and looks, iPhone 5C has a hard-coated polycarbonate shell with black front bezel and a 4 inch Retina display. The outer plastic shell is reinforced by a steel frame in which functions as a multi band antenna which is a really neat feature. Apart from this, Apple is also gives you the option to choose your iPhone 5C in few different colors – green, white, blue, pink, and yellow. They would be selling these silicon covers at $29 each to accent your color choice.
