Gen Mobile plans start at $10 a month for 2 GB of data. Gen Mobile is a prepaid MVNO, a mobile virtual network operator, and it has the same owner as Boost Mobile. Its about page says, “Gen Mobile is part of EchoStar Corporation”, and its footer calls it “a division of Boost SubscriberCo L.L.C.”
Gen Mobile plans and prices
Five plans, each with unlimited talk and text. Paying for more months lowers the monthly rate on all but the smallest. The amount due up front is in brackets.

| 2 GB | Not listed | $10 | $10 ($30) | $10 ($60) | $10 ($120) |

Prices are from Gen Mobile’s plans page, read on October 8, 2026. Data renews every 30 days and does not roll over.
Taxes are extra. Gen Mobile’s FAQ says “Applicable taxes, surcharges, and regulatory fees may be added depending on your billing address and plan.”
The FAQ also mentions a “10% AutoPay discount”. We could not tell whether the prices above already include it.
International calling is built in
Every plan includes unlimited calling to more than 100 international destinations. The limit is on how many people you call: the first 20 unique numbers each month.
Which network does Gen Mobile use?
Two, under its own names. The FAQ says: “Our Rose Network is compatible with most T-Mobile phones. Our Sky network is compatible with most AT&T phones.” Its coverage link opens T-Mobile’s map.
Elsewhere the same page says Gen Mobile “is powered by three of America’s largest 5G networks”. It does not say what the third is.
Does Gen Mobile support eSIM?
Yes. The FAQ says “Every activation requires a Gen Mobile SIM card, unless your phone supports eSIM, which lets you activate without a physical card.”
Data settings
Gen Mobile keeps its APN settings on a separate address, apn.genmobile.com, which would not load for us. We have no values to print.
