Visible vs Mint Mobile comes down to two questions. Which network works where you live, and can you pay for a year at once? Visible runs on Verizon’s network and charges by the month. Mint Mobile runs on T-Mobile’s and charges for 3, 6 or 12 months up front.
Both are owned by the network they run on. Visible’s terms name Verizon Value, Inc. as the provider. T-Mobile completed its purchase of Mint on May 1, 2024.

Price, honestly compared
For unlimited data Visible is cheaper and simpler. It is $25 a month with taxes and fees included, and you can leave after any month.
Mint’s unlimited plan is $30 a month only on the 12-month term, which is $360 on the day you sign up, plus taxes and fees. Renewing three months at a time costs $40 a month.
Mint wins if you do not need unlimited. Its 6 GB plan is $15 a month and its 17 GB plan $20, on a yearly term. Visible has no small plan. Its floor is $25.
Limits
Visible’s base plan streams video at up to 480p and its hotspot is held to 5 Mbps. Mint says customers on its unlimited plan who use more than 50 GB in a month “may notice reduced speeds”.
Which one
Choose Visible if Verizon is the stronger network at your address, if you want unlimited data, or if you would rather not pay months ahead.
Choose Mint Mobile if T-Mobile is stronger where you live, if you use under 20 GB a month, and if paying for a year at once is no problem.
